Haojue Tr300 Review
"Solid budget commuter if you inspect carefully and manage expectations."
Used Buyer Review
The Haojue TR300 is China's answer to the budget adventure-naked segment, and honestly, it punches above its price tag more often than you'd expect. The single-cylinder 300cc motor is smooth enough for city commuting and relaxed weekend blasts, though don't expect it to embarrass anything with Italian or Japanese blood. Build quality is the real wildcard here — earlier examples had questionable switchgear and electrical gremlins that'll test your patience, so inspect any used example thoroughly before handing over cash. What you're actually buying is decent ergonomics, a comfortable upright seating position, and surprisingly capable suspension for the money. The braking hardware is adequate without being confidence-inspiring. If you're buying used, budget for brake fluid changes, chain maintenance, and potentially replacing the stock tires immediately — they're the definition of 'fitted to meet a price point.' Find one with full service records and you'll be largely okay. Skip anything that looks neglected.
