Used Buyer Review

The Panigale V2 is genuinely one of the most beautiful motorcycles you can buy used under $15k, and the 955cc Superquadro twin sounds absolutely savage. Real talk though โ€” these things demand respect. The ergonomics are punishing below 60mph, your wrists and neck will hate you in traffic, and fuel economy is roughly 35mpg if you're being sensible, which you won't be. Mechanically, they're surprisingly reliable if the previous owner wasn't a lunatic. Check the service history obsessively โ€” valve clearances run about $800-1,200 and are due every 15,000 miles. Look for crash damage carefully, especially on the lower fairings and frame sliders. A clean 2020 with documented history is worth paying a premium for over a cheap 2022 with question marks. The electronics package is genuinely impressive for the class โ€” cornering ABS and traction control are well-calibrated and don't feel intrusive. This isn't a beginner bike wearing sportbike clothing. It's an actual sportbike that'll punish inattention while simultaneously making you feel like a hero.

Pros

+Intoxicating twin-cylinder soundtrack
+Sharp, confidence-inspiring chassis
+Excellent electronics package
+Strong resale value retention
+Stunning looks, turns heads

Cons

-Brutal ergonomics for commuting
-Expensive valve service intervals
-Heat soak at low speeds
-Unforgiving of sloppy riding
