Cfmoto 800mt (mt 800 Explorer) Review
"Unbeatable value adventure tourer if dealer support is nearby."

Used Buyer Review
The 800MT is one of those bikes that genuinely surprises you. CFMOTO's partnership with KTM shows — the 799cc parallel twin is smooth, pulls strong from low revs, and the WP suspension (yes, actual WP) is properly tuned for mixed-road work. Used examples from 2022 onward represent serious value when you stack them against equivalent Yamahas or Kawasakis. Don't let the badge snobbery put you off. That said, go in with eyes open. Early units had some TFT display glitches and a few owners reported inconsistent dealer support depending on location. Parts availability is improving but still trails the Japanese brands. Check the service history carefully — skipped oil changes hurt this engine disproportionately. Give the throttle-by-wire a thorough test across all riding modes before handing over cash. Buy one with under 15,000 miles, full stamps in the book, and you're getting a genuinely capable adventure-tourer at a price that makes the competition look embarrassed. The value proposition here is real.
