Ccm Flat Tracker 450 Review
"A thrilling boutique tracker that demands an attentive, committed owner."
Used Buyer Review
The CCM Flat Tracker 450 is one of those bikes that rewards the right kind of owner massively while punishing everyone else. Built in Bolton, England using a Suzuki RMX450Z motocross engine stuffed into a proper hand-welded chromoly frame, it's genuinely exotic for the money. Power delivery is snappy and aggressive — this isn't a cruiser dressed up in flat track clothing, it actually bites back. Expect 45bhp that feels considerably more urgent than that figure suggests. Buying used, do your homework carefully. CCM produced these in small numbers and parts support is better than you'd expect from a boutique manufacturer, but it's still not a Yamaha. Check the subframe for cracks — these bikes get ridden hard. The suspension is fully adjustable and genuinely sorted, but previous owners often mess with settings and forget to document them. Service history matters enormously here. A well-maintained example is genuinely thrilling. A neglected one is an expensive headache with a gorgeous seat.
