Bmw C 400 Gt Review
"The sharpest premium commuter scooter money can buy used."
Used Buyer Review
The C 400 GT is BMW's attempt at making a grown-up scooter, and honestly? They largely pulled it off. The 350cc single punches above its displacement, cruises motorways at 70mph without drama, and that integrated storage is genuinely brilliant for commuting. The heated grips and windscreen adjustment come standard, which still embarrasses rivals costing similar money used. Where it gets real though — these things needed the recall work done on the front brake master cylinder, so check that first before you hand over any cash. Service history matters more than usual here because BMW servicing isn't cheap, and skipped intervals show up fast. Inspect the final drive housing for oil seepage too, it's a known weak point on early examples. Buy a 2019 onwards if you can, post-recall and with any software updates applied. You're getting a genuinely premium urban machine that ages well and holds value stubbornly. Just don't expect it to replace a proper adventure bike for weekend blasts.
