Benelli 302s Review
"Buy cheap or don't bother — the price has to compensate."
Used Buyer Review
The 302S is one of those bikes that looks a million dollars on paper — parallel twin, sport fairing, Italian badge — but reality bites once you start digging. Quality control is genuinely inconsistent, so inspect any used example thoroughly before handing over cash. Check the electrics obsessively: instruments glitching, indicator stalks wobbling loose, and spotty fuel gauge readings are common complaints. The 300cc parallel twin produces around 38hp which is honest enough for a beginner but feels breathless above 9,000rpm on motorways. That said, at the right price it's not a disaster. Handling is surprisingly sorted — the chassis feels planted through corners and the brakes are decent for the class. Parts availability is improving but still patchy depending on your region, so factor in potential wait times for anything beyond consumables. Service intervals are reasonable at 6,000 miles. Buy at the bottom of the market, never full asking price. These depreciate hard and sellers often don't know it yet.
