Aprilia Sr Gt 125 Review
"Style and substance for 125-class, if priced right."
Used Buyer Review
The SR GT 125 is genuinely one of the better-looking 125s on the used market, and Aprilia has put real effort into the chassis and suspension compared to budget-brand rivals. For a 125 scooter, it actually handles with some conviction — the twin rear shocks aren't just for show, and it holds its line through bends better than you'd expect. Engine performance is par for the 125 class, so don't expect miracles, but it pulls cleanly and the fuel injection keeps cold starts drama-free. Used examples need careful inspection though. Check the underseat storage latch — it's plasticky and fails early. Inspect the front fork seals, as some bikes show leaks before 8,000 miles. Service history matters here more than you'd think; the variator belt is often neglected and costs you dearly if it snaps. Pricing is optimistic on the used market because of the badge. Don't overpay. Find one with full service records, check the bodywork for car-park scuffs, and you've got a genuinely stylish, capable urban commuter.
