Husqvarna Svartpilen 250

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 has a top speed of 130 km/h (estimated), produces 30 hp and weighs 167 kg. Motoryk rates it 7.5/10.

🔧

KTM Duke 250 DNA

The Svartpilen 250 shares its 248cc single-cylinder engine and platform with the KTM Duke 250, meaning parts are widely available and mechanics familiar with KTM will have no trouble servicing it.

⚠️

Watch the Fuel Pump

Some owners report occasional fuel pump issues and stalling at low speeds, so inspect service history carefully and consider a pre-purchase inspection if buying used.

💰

Holds Value Well

The Svartpilen 250 retains strong resale value due to its distinctive scrambler styling and limited competition in the small-displacement premium segment, making it a solid buy for both riding and future resale.

Lo mejor para
Urban commuters wanting weekend gravel adventure capability

"A genuinely characterful small bike that rewards patient, curious riders."

$3,500-$5,500 used

The Svartpilen 250 is genuinely one of the more interesting small bikes you can buy used, and Husqvarna deserves credit for making a 250 feel like an actual motorcycle rather than a learner toy. The scrambler-lite styling isn't just cosmetic either — that upright riding position and semi-knobby rubber make it legitimately fun on gravel tracks and forest roads, not just Instagram-worthy. It shares its engine with the KTM Duke 250, which is both good and bad news. Good news: parts availability is solid and the motor is proven reliable if serviced properly. Bad news: previous owners who ignored the service intervals aren't rare on these. Check the chain, sprockets, and ask for service records religiously. The WP suspension is decent but noticeably underdamped for anything over 70mph — it gets floaty. Also budget for a proper seat if you're doing anything over an hour, because the stock unit is punishment. Used prices are reasonable right now, and depreciation has largely settled. Just don't expect sportbike performance — this is a mood machine, and that mood is genuinely good.
