$7,000-$11,000 usedThe X-ADV 750 is genuinely one of the more interesting machines Honda's built in years — part scooter, part adventure bike, all confusion at first glance. But spend a week on one and it starts making complete sense. The DCT gearbox is the real star here; it's smoother than most human riders manage manually, and the automatic mode handles city traffic brilliantly without making you feel lazy on the open road. Used examples from 2017-2019 are bargains right now, but check the front forks carefully — they can weep oil and Honda dealer labour isn't cheap. The underseat storage is a genuine bonus over any comparable adventure bike, and fuel economy hovers around 55-60mpg in real-world riding. Where it falls apart is serious off-road work — that low ground clearance and road-biased tyres will catch you out fast on anything rougher than a gravel car park. It's also a tall, heavy beast for shorter riders. Budget £500 for a service and new tyres on any used example and you'll likely be sorted for years.
