Check the telescopic forks for oil weeping — it's the main weak spot — and inspect the rear brake drum adjustment, which gets neglected by city commuters who ride one-handed while eating a sandwich. Practically speaking, the underseat storage swallows a full-face helmet, the twin-beam frame corners with genuine confidence for a 125, and the combined braking system actually works here unlike on cheaper rivals. Later models from 2020 onward added a proper front disc which transformed stopping distances noticeably. Don't let high mileage scare you off — these engines genuinely go 30,000+ miles with regular oil changes. What kills them is neglect. Run a service history check, start it cold to listen for top-end rattle, and you'll likely be buying the most sensible motorcycle decision you've ever made.
