That Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine pulls hard from low revs, sounds right without being obnoxious, and doesn't vibrate your fillings loose like the old Twin Cam did. The riding position is aggressive for a cruiser — you're leaning forward, not lounging — and it actually handles with some purpose. It's not a sportbike, but it won't embarrass you in corners either. Buying used, check the front forks carefully. Early examples had some seal issues, and plenty of owners thrash these things without proper servicing. Demand full service history and look for oil weeping around the rocker covers. The stock seat is punishing beyond 90 minutes — budget for an aftermarket unit immediately.
