First-year examples (2021) had some teething issues with the radar cruise control and software quirks, so I'd chase a 2022 or later with updated firmware. Always verify the service history obsessively — these need valve checks at 15,000 miles and Ducati dealer labor isn't cheap. The V4 Granturismo engine is smoother and more tractable than the old L-twin, and the electronics package with cornering ABS, semi-active suspension, and radar cruise is genuinely transformative on long rides. That said, go in with eyes open. The electronics are complex enough that gremlins appear on neglected examples. Check that all riding modes work correctly, the radar sensors aren't damaged, and the suspension responds properly across settings. A pre-purchase inspection from a Ducati dealer is money well spent. Ownership costs will sting — budget properly or walk away.
