Before you buy, pull the service history hard. Ducati's desmo service intervals are wallet-destroying — budget £1,500-2,000 every 15,000 miles minimum. Check the electronics package is fully functional; the cornering ABS and traction control systems are complex and expensive when they throw a tantrum.
