Used Buyer Review

The Tiger 900 Rally Pro is one of those bikes that genuinely earns its reputation rather than just coasting on badge appeal. That 888cc triple is the real story here โ€” it pulls cleanly from low revs, sounds absolutely brilliant through the mids, and never feels strained. The Rally Pro specifically comes with the longer-travel suspension and wire-spoke wheels, which transforms how it handles on broken tarmac and fire roads compared to the standard GT variants. Used examples from 2020-2022 have proven reliable, though check the TFT screen for delamination issues and inspect the spoke tension if the previous owner used it off-road seriously. On a used example, budget for new tyres almost immediately โ€” previous owners often run Mitas or stock Michelin Anakees into the square. The ergonomics are genuinely touring-friendly without feeling like a sofa, and the electronics package including cornering ABS and traction control is properly sorted, not just a checkbox exercise. It's not flawless โ€” the seat heats up your backside uncomfortably in summer, and wind protection is merely adequate rather than excellent.

Pros

+Triple engine sounds glorious
+Capable genuine off-road ability
+Excellent electronics package
+Comfortable long-distance ergonomics
+Strong used value retention

Cons

-Summer heat soak issue
-TFT screen delamination risk
-Wind protection merely adequate
-Heavy for technical singletrack
