Suzuki Boulevard C90 Review
"Solid, unfussy cruiser that rewards relaxed riders who maintain it."
Used Buyer Review
The C90 is Suzuki's answer to the Harley Softail crowd, and honestly it does a decent job. The 1462cc V-twin pulls strong from low revs, the riding position is relaxed without being punishing, and the chrome work holds up well if the previous owner wasn't lazy with maintenance. For highway cruising it's genuinely comfortable, but don't expect it to carve corners — this thing weighs 700+ pounds and it knows it. Used examples from the mid-2000s are everywhere and prices have stayed sensible. Watch out for neglected carburetors on pre-2009 models before fuel injection arrived — they gum up badly if the bike sat unused. Check the floorboard mounts for rust, inspect the final belt drive for cracking, and make sure the turn signals aren't corroded through. These aren't dealbreakers, just typical used-bike homework. It's never going to excite you the way a performance bike does, but that's not the point. The C90 is a dependable, comfortable mile-eater that won't leave you stranded.
