Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Review
"Honest, characterful cruiser that punches well above its used price."
Used Buyer Review
The Super Meteor 650 is genuinely one of the better used buys in the middleweight cruiser segment right now. Royal Enfield sorted the 648cc parallel twin properly — it's smooth, pulls cleanly from low revs, and that exhaust note is legitimately addictive. Used examples from 2023 onward are still relatively fresh, so you're not inheriting someone else's neglect problems yet. Check the chain wear and make sure the previous owner wasn't flogging it on weekend canyon runs they weren't equipped for. What you're really buying is a boulevarder that doesn't insult your intelligence. The ergonomics are relaxed without being ridiculous, fueling is clean, and the suspension handles real roads better than the price suggests. It won't embarrass a Bonneville T120 but it costs significantly less used. Watch for crash damage around the engine bars and check that switchgear — early units had some quality control wobbles. Otherwise, a well-maintained example under 8,000 miles is solid money.
