Regal Raptor Chopper 125 Review
"A budget novelty that rewards low expectations and careful inspection."
Used Buyer Review
Look, nobody's buying a Regal Raptor Chopper 125 because they've always dreamed of owning one. They're buying it because it looks like a proper chopper for peanuts, and honestly, for what it is, that's fair enough. The stretched-out cruiser styling punches well above its price bracket, and puttering around town on one is genuinely enjoyable if you keep your expectations firmly in check. That 125cc single-cylinder engine is agricultural at best. It'll cruise at 55mph but ask for more and it protests loudly. Parts availability is the real nightmare — these are Chinese-built machines and finding OEM components outside of specialist importers is genuinely frustrating. Check the electrics obsessively on any used example. Connectors corrode, lights fail, and previous owners frequently bodge repairs. Chain adjusters and wheel bearings wear faster than you'd want. Buy one knowing exactly what you're getting: a budget learner cruiser that looks the part, requires patience, and rewards careful ownership. Nothing more, nothing less.
