Ktm 890 Adventure Review
"The best mid-size adventure bike you can buy used right now."
Used Buyer Review
The 890 Adventure sits in that sweet spot KTM nailed — genuinely capable off-road without being a pig on the tarmac. That parallel twin pulls hard from 4,000rpm and the WP suspension is legitimately good rather than just marketing copy. Used examples from 2021 onwards tend to hit the market with 15-25k miles from owners who bought them for grand touring dreams and discovered they're actually adventure bikes. Check those miles honestly. Here's what dealers won't tell you: the stock seat is brutal past 200 miles and most owners have either upgraded it or are suffering quietly. Also inspect the bashplate and check for any off-road damage they're hiding under fresh detailing. The Brembo brakes are excellent but bleed the system if it feels soft — previous owners often neglect this. Electronics package is genuinely impressive for the price bracket, cornering ABS and multiple riding modes actually work rather than just existing on a spec sheet.
