Indian Super Chief Limited Review
"A gorgeous, capable touring cruiser that rewards patient, highway-focused riders."
Used Buyer Review
The Super Chief Limited is Indian's most ornate cruiser, and used examples between 2022-2024 represent genuinely good value if you can stomach the sheer size of the thing. That 116ci Thunderstroke motor pulls hard from almost nothing, and the chrome-laden bodywork still turns heads like few bikes can. Check for corrosion around the fender struts and inspect the leather saddlebags for cracking — early owners sometimes neglected conditioning them. The suspension is plush to a fault, which some riders love and canyon carvers absolutely hate. It's tuned for boulevard posing, not technical roads. Inspect the quick-detach windshield mounts carefully — they can develop slop and rattle annoyingly at highway speeds. Tires wear reasonably well but replacements aren't cheap given the unusual sizing. Dealer servicing costs are real money, so budget accordingly. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration on the Ride Command system works well but occasionally needs a software reset.
