The Sport Scout is Indian's most genuinely sporty street bike, and used examples are genuinely tempting right now. That 1133cc liquid-cooled V-twin punches harder than the air-cooled Scout, with 100bhp that feels properly urgent in the mid-range. The chassis is tight and confidence-inspiring, handling corners with a precision that surprises people expecting cruiser vagueness. It's a properly capable machine that rewards aggressive riding without punishing you for commuting. That said, go in with eyes open on used examples. Check the rear suspension linkage bearings — they wear faster than they should and replacements aren't cheap. The 3.4-gallon tank is genuinely frustrating on longer rides, so confirm the previous owner didn't just use it for weekend blasts. Electronics are solid, but inspect the TFT display for sun damage on bikes that lived outside. Service intervals are every 3,000 miles, so demand a full history.
