Always verify the air filter condition and ask about oil change intervals honestly. When maintained properly, the RX rewards you with class-leading suspension tuning straight from Honda's HRC-influenced setup, and that electric starter is genuinely life-changing on technical terrain. The 18-inch rear wheel makes it far more capable on longer trail rides than a pure motocrosser. Hours meter reading is your best friend here — anything over 80 hours without documented valve service, walk away or negotiate hard for the rebuild cost.
