Harley-davidson Vrscf V-rod Muscle Review
"The best performance Harley ever built, criminally undervalued used."

Used Buyer Review
The V-Rod Muscle is Harley's most un-Harley motorcycle, and that's exactly why it's brilliant. That 1250cc Revolution engine โ co-developed with Porsche โ pulls hard from 3,000rpm and keeps pulling well past where most V-twins run out of breath. It sounds different, runs cooler than air-cooled Harleys, and genuinely handles. Buy one between 2009-2017 and you're getting a mature, sorted machine. Inspect the front forks carefully โ they can leak on higher-mileage examples โ and always check the rear tire width; those 240-section rubber gets expensive fast. Used prices have actually softened recently because mainstream Harley buyers still don't know what to do with it. That's your opportunity. Parts availability is decent, independent mechanics can work on it without drama, and reliability is genuinely strong. One honest warning: the riding position is aggressive and low. Taller riders above 6'2" will cramp up on longer rides. For shorter stints though, it's spectacular. Don't overthink it โ just buy a clean one.
