The Superlow 1200T is Harley's attempt at making the Sportster actually comfortable for real-world riding, and honestly? They mostly pulled it off. The stepped seat and slightly raised bars make a genuine difference on longer hauls compared to the standard XL1200. That 1202cc air-cooled V-twin pulls hard in the midrange and sounds properly menacing with the stock pipes — imagine anything aftermarket and you're grinning constantly. Buy one between 2014-2020 and check the primary chain tensioner carefully — it's a known weak spot that owners often neglect. Look for service records showing regular oil changes because these motors hate extended intervals. Vibration through the pegs is real above 70mph, and the two-valve pushrod motor isn't winning any efficiency awards at roughly 45mpg. Suspension is soft from the factory; previous owners may have already upgraded it, which is actually a bonus. For the money used, this thing punches above its weight.
