Harley-davidson Nightster Special Review
"The best Sportster-lineage bike Harley has ever built."

Used Buyer Review
The Nightster Special is Harley's most honest attempt at a modern middleweight in years. The 975cc Revolution Max engine is genuinely brilliant โ tractable from low revs, surprisingly rev-happy for a V-twin, and doesn't vibrate your fillings loose like the old Sportsters did. Used examples from 2022-2023 are hitting the market now as owners upgrade, and you can find clean ones well under MSRP. Worth it. Check the suspension carefully on used examples โ it's soft stock and previous owners may have thrashed it through corners repeatedly. Also inspect the seat foam, because it's notoriously thin and riders often replace it early. The reach to the bars is stretched for shorter riders, so sit on it before committing. Software updates matter here too โ early bikes had fueling quirks that dealer flashes mostly sorted. This isn't a touring bike or a drag strip weapon. It's a genuinely fun, characterful naked that handles better than any Sportster before it. If you find one with low miles and a fresh service history, pull the trigger.
