Harley-davidson Nightster 975 Review
"A flawed but genuinely exciting used buy with real character."

Used Buyer Review
The Nightster 975 is genuinely one of the more interesting Harleys in years โ that Revolution Max 975T motor pulls hard from low revs and sounds properly mean without being obnoxious. It's narrow, flickable, and doesn't feel like you're riding a barge. For a used buy, the 2022-2023 examples are hitting sweet spots price-wise right now, and the engine has proven reliable so far. Check the electronics package โ some early units had minor throttle-by-wire glitches that dealers sorted under warranty. The honest downsides? Seat comfort beyond 90 minutes is genuinely poor, and taller riders above 6-foot will feel cramped. The suspension is on the soft side stock, and if the previous owner hammered it, check for sagging rear. Tank range is tight at around 130 miles real-world. Parts availability is solid being a Harley, but labor rates at H-D dealers will sting. For the money used, it punches above its weight as an urban middleweight with serious character. Just budget for a better seat immediately.
