Harley-davidson Heritage Classic 114 Review
"A serious touring cruiser that earns its premium price tag used."

Used Buyer Review
The Heritage Classic 114 is Harley's most honest attempt at a proper touring bike dressed in vintage clothes, and the Milwaukee-Eight 114 makes it genuinely usable rather than just pretty. That 1868cc twin pulls hard from nearly nothing, and unlike older Evo or Twin Cam bikes, it runs cooler and smoother on long hauls. Check the front fork seals and listen for any primary chain rattle on startup โ that's your early warning system on these. Used examples from 2018-2020 tend to have the most issues sorted by previous owners, but watch for neglected oil changes. Harley recommends 5,000-mile intervals but many owners stretch them. Compression test before buying if you can. The infotainment on later models is genuinely good, but earlier touchscreens can get laggy. Budget for tires โ the stock Michelins wear faster than they should on a bike this heavy.
Pros
Cons
You prioritize canyon carving over straight-line cruising
