Cfmoto 800mt Review
"Exceptional used value if a dealer lives nearby."
Used Buyer Review
The 800MT is genuinely impressive for the money, and buying one used makes the value proposition even harder to ignore. The parallel twin pulls hard from low revs, the TFT dash is sharp, and the semi-active suspension on Sport trim actually works. Chinese build quality skepticism is understandable, but these have proven reasonably solid in the real world — just check the wiring harness connectors for corrosion and verify dealer history exists somewhere nearby. The weak points are real though. Parts availability is still patchy outside major cities, and if something proprietary goes wrong, you're waiting. The stock seat turns punishing after two hours, and the throttle-by-wire mapping in lower modes feels snatchy around town. Previous owners often neglect the chain and sprockets badly, so factor that into your offer. For used money — we're talking $6,500-8,500 — you're getting genuine adventure bike hardware that embarrasses Japanese competitors at double the price. Just make sure your nearest CFMOTO dealer isn't three states away before you commit.
