Cfmoto 650mt Review
"Genuinely capable budget adventure tourer that rewards patient, informed buyers."
Used Buyer Review
The 650MT is genuinely surprising value, and I say that as someone who walked in skeptical. The parallel twin pulls cleanly from 3,000rpm, the riding position suits long days in the saddle, and the wind protection is better than bikes costing twice as much. CFMoto's quality has tightened considerably since early production runs, and the KYB suspension underneath is the real deal — not budget compromise hardware. That said, go in with eyes open. The TFT display washes out badly in direct sunlight, the sidestand switch is temperamental and will strand you at the worst moment, and early models had throttle body sync issues that caused low-speed hunting. Check service history obsessively — owners who skipped the 6,000km valve checks sometimes paid for it later. Look for bikes with the updated firmware applied. Used, you're getting a competent mid-weight adventure-tourer at commuter money. It's not a BMW or even a Kawasaki, but it doesn't pretend to be. Honest, capable, occasionally frustrating.
