The V-twin donor motor is reliable enough, but Bimota-specific steering components and bodywork panels can take months to source and cost serious money. Mileage matters less than ownership history here. Find one with a fastidious dealer-serviced record or walk away. Previous owners either treated these as precious museum pieces or thrashed them at trackdays — there's rarely a middle ground.
