This 346cc two-stroke single was built in Izhevsk from 1987 through the late 1990s, and what you're getting is a machine designed to be repaired with a hammer and a philosophical attitude. Parts availability in the West is genuinely awful, so unless you're near a Russian diaspora community or comfortable ordering from obscure Ukrainian eBay sellers, ownership becomes a treasure hunt you didn't sign up for. That said, there's something genuinely charming about riding one. The engine pulls smoothly once jetted correctly, the bike is light enough to manhandle, and maintenance is caveman-simple. The electrics, however, are Soviet-grade catastrophe — budget time and money immediately for a rewire. Every used example you find will have had 'work done' by someone whose qualifications you should question deeply.
