The CVT automatic means you're never caught off-guard in traffic, the floorboards give you real riding comfort on longer stints, and that parallel-twin pushes enough grunt to feel confident on dual carriageways. Don't let anyone tell you it'll embarrass itself at 70mph — it won't. Buying used, check the CVT belt religiously. SYM recommends replacement around 12,000 miles and previous owners frequently ignore this. A worn belt gives you sluggish acceleration and that characteristic slipping sensation under hard throttle.
