It's not fast, but it pulls with that characterful thump that RE riders actually buy these bikes for. Comfortable highway cruiser for moderate distances. Here's the honest part though — used examples are a lottery. Check the electrics obsessively. Wiring issues, indicator stalks cracking, and charging system problems plague neglected examples. Look for oil seepage around the primary chaincase and check if the previous owner actually serviced it on schedule.
