The Ktm 790 Adventure has a top speed of 200 km/h (estimated, electronically influenced), produces 95 hp and weighs 189 kg. Motoryk rates it 8.5/10.

Was Käufer wissen sollten
Watch the Throttle Bodies
Some early 2019-2020 models experienced throttle body sync issues causing rough idle or stalling. A dealer throttle body balance service typically resolves this and is worth requesting during any pre-purchase inspection.
Strong Resale Value
The 790 Adventure holds its value well due to strong demand and limited production after KTM discontinued it in favor of the 890. Low-mileage examples often sell at 75-85% of original MSRP.
Rally-Bred Chassis
The 790 shares its Chromoly steel trellis frame DNA directly from KTM's Dakar Rally bikes, giving it exceptionally nimble handling for its class. This makes it uniquely capable on tight trails compared to heavier adventure competitors.

"The best mid-size ADV money can buy used, caveat emptor."
$7,500-$11,500 usedThe 790 Adventure is KTM's sweet spot — light enough to toss around on dirt, capable enough to eat motorway miles without destroying your soul. That parallel twin punches hard from 3,000rpm and the chassis genuinely does what the marketing claims. For a mid-size ADV, nothing else in its class rides quite this sharp. Inspect the frame sliders and crash bungs carefully — these bikes attract optimistic riders who've tested the bodywork against gravity more than once. The LC8c engine is generally bulletproof past 20,000 miles if serviced correctly, but skipped valve checks will cost you. Check service history obsessively. The WP XPLOR suspension is excellent stock but adjusting it requires patience and a decent setup guide. Electronics package is surprisingly sophisticated for the money — cornering ABS and traction control modes actually work. Budget for a quality skid plate and handguards immediately if the previous owner was sensible enough to fit them already.
