That LC4 engine is a screamer when healthy — 67hp from a thumper feels almost violent — but neglected examples with sketchy service history will punish you financially. Check the valve clearances obsessively. KTM specifies tight intervals and previous owners routinely skip them. The chassis is where this bike earns its reputation. WP suspension that actually works, a proper subframe, and geometry that makes technical trails feel approachable. It's genuinely light too, which matters when you're hauling it out of a ditch.
