Check the valve clearances obsessively. KTM specifies tight intervals and previous owners routinely skip them. The chassis is where this bike earns its reputation. WP suspension that actually works, a proper subframe, and geometry that makes technical trails feel approachable. It's genuinely light too, which matters when you're hauling it out of a ditch. Fuel range is the elephant in the room though — 13 liters disappears fast and you will get stranded if you're not planning stops. Pre-2019 models had some known fuel injection gremlins and a clutch that drinks fluid. Post-2019 is significantly sorted.
