The Norden 901 is essentially a KTM 890 Adventure wearing a gorgeous Swedish suit, and that's mostly a good thing. The parallel-twin engine is genuinely brilliant — linear power delivery, strong mid-range, and enough grunt to make highway miles feel effortless without terrorizing you on trails. Ergonomics are excellent for taller riders, and that semi-active suspension on the Expedition model handles everything from gravel tracks to motorway slabs with minimal fuss. Here's what nobody tells you before you buy used: check the fuel pump recall status obsessively. Early bikes had issues, and some owners didn't get them resolved. Also inspect the center stand tabs — they crack on rougher bikes. Electronics are KTM-sourced and generally solid, but the Husqvarna dealer network is noticeably thinner than KTM's, which matters when something goes wrong 200 miles from home. Budget for a proper service history check and walk away from anything with crash damage, because bodywork is expensive.
