What Buyers Should Know
Watch the Valve Clearances
The 1832cc flat-six engine requires valve clearance checks every 16,000 miles — often skipped by previous owners. Neglected clearances can lead to costly engine issues, so always verify service history before buying.
Strong Resale Value
The 2012 Gold Wing holds its value exceptionally well compared to most touring bikes, retaining roughly 60-70% of its original value a decade later. Low mileage examples in good condition are especially sought after.
Premium Integrated Audio System
The 2012 model features a built-in six-speaker stereo with Bluetooth connectivity and a GPS navigation system as standard equipment — rare luxuries for its era. This integrated tech setup adds significant real-world touring value.
