Honda Activa I

Proven Engine Reliability
The Activa i uses Honda's battle-tested 109cc air-cooled engine, known for running 80,000–1,00,000 km with minimal issues when serviced regularly. It's one of the most low-maintenance scooters in its segment.
Watch the CVT Belt
The V-belt in the variator tends to wear out around 30,000–40,000 km and can cause jerky acceleration if neglected. Budget ₹800–₹1,200 for periodic belt replacement to avoid breakdowns.
Strong Resale Value
Honda Activa models consistently retain 60–70% of their value after 3 years, making the Activa i one of the safest two-wheeler investments in India. Its brand trust and widespread service network keep demand high.

Avaliação do comprador usado
"Boring, reliable, affordable — exactly what a budget commuter should be."
$400-$900 usedThe Activa i is Honda's stripped-down answer to budget commuting, and honestly it does that one job reasonably well. The 110cc engine is bulletproof if serviced properly — these things genuinely run forever with basic maintenance. Fuel economy is strong, hovering around 55-60kmpl in real-world city riding, and parts are cheap everywhere. If you're buying used, check the telescopic front fork seals first because they leak on neglected examples, and inspect the CVT belt — a worn belt makes the scooter sluggish off the line and costs more than you'd expect to replace. The downsides are real though. Power delivery feels flat above 60kmph, and the underseat storage is genuinely embarrassing — Honda somehow made it smaller than the standard Activa. Drum brakes front and rear mean you're planning your stops well in advance. It's not exciting, it's not versatile, and it won't impress anyone. But a well-maintained 2015-2019 example for the right money? Solid, unfussy urban transport that won't leave you stranded.
